The Koinoneo Independent Mission Agency
exists for the purpose of providing free, low-cost, instruction,
training, guidance, resources, and assistance to
Christian
individuals and congregations within and beyond the borders of the
United States, who have demonstrated a friendship with the Lutheran
Church/Missouri Synod and a need for such services.
In order to provide such services, KIMA and those who support the ministry of KIMA plan and carryout programs to provide funds for the above listed services. Below is a partial list of such programs.

A request has been made by Pastor Isaac Garcia and his wife Yolanda for quilts for the people to whom they minister. Most of the homes there in Mexico do not have any central heat. Pastor Isaac and Yolanda want to bring a little warmth to those cold nights in northern Mexico. We have set a goal of 100+ blankets and quilts. We can buy used quilts for $7.50 each if we buy 100. The good people of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas are donating between 25-30 quilts that the ladies there have made.

We hope to take the quilts down to Mexico the early part of November. That might depend on when we get 100 quilts or $750 so we can buy the quilts. If you can help out in any way contact us at nfinke_kima@sbcglobal.net.
